A Mess o' Movies
I can't tell you how tired I am. Really. I'm too tired to understand how tired I am, and therefore can't tell you.
This is because I managed to squeeze a whole bunch of encapsulated reviews into this week's Popcorn Picnic. I hit Dave Chappelle's Block Party, 16 Blocks, Aquamarine, Madea's Family Reunion, The Hills Have Eyes and Failure to Launch. And . . . ANNNND . . . get this:
I didn't see any of 'em.
How 'bout that, huh? Six reviews of movies (seven, almost), totally unbiased by the movies themselves. Guess I thought I'd take on my characters' personalities, and this week, more than any other since I started the strip, is a weak week for movies.
Actually, I really want to see Dave Chappelle's Block Party. Which is the real reason I didn't want to make fun of it in the strip. The rest of 'em look pretty stinky, though.
With that, I bid thee farewell, waking world.
Whoops! Channeled Neil Gaiman for a sec there.

I too found your site and wish to report that it is mighty fine! Indeed, I was late for work this morning because I was reading the archives of same. Laughed out loud at the King Kong piece!
Joe! Glad to hear from you. I'm sure I owe you an email, though a phone call would be a good idea, too. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on the strip.
And, um, smelly . . . heh-heh. I like your username! I also just flipped over to your user profile. You're australian! So if you like my stuff, you might like reading THIS, a story I did a couple years ago about one of your countrymen.
