"THEY CALL ME MR. GLASS"

Why haven't I committed to the permanent three update week yet? Easy-peasy. I'm a LAME-O.

Nah. That's not it. Here's the thing: I scheduled a mini vacation (two teensy days) awhile ago, the first I've taken in quite awhile. And I really thought I'd be able to finish a strip in time to post it this morning. Nope! I couldn't quite make it.

To make it up to y'all, I'm hanging out on Cape Cod and working on a possible FOUR strip week for next week, a guest strip for another site, AND the sweet-ass illustrations for the winners of the Snakes on a Plane contest. I can't tell you how psyched I am to draw these things. Both winners have excellent, excellent taste in Sam Jackson characters. Not a single Coach Carter in sight!

All lightness aside, I'm sorry for the lack of a real update today. I'm good for it, I swear.

Seeya Monday, midnight-style.

I'm so excited to see the other guts choice now :) I'm glad you liked the different picks though, there are a lot of stereotypical characters you could pick for Sam. Not that they are bad, they are all seriously awesome, but you know, Sam has done a crap load of movies.

I'm still so excited I'm getting a one of a kind drawing of a really cool character :D

Oh, man. Sam Jackson is one of those actors who's been in everything, in every kind of movie, every kind of role -- though he's not usually the romantic lead. He got close in The Long Kiss Goodnight (I was kinda hoping one of you winners would pick his character in that li'l gem), but you couldn't QUITE describe it as romantic.

It's ironic, actually, that he isn't more frequently cast in a romantic role, 'cause he's one of those few actors who seems to be capable of staying married to the same person.

Though to be fair, his career ain't over yet.

:C
