CAST
Danny Sumner
Current favorite film: Spider-Man 2
All-time favorite film: Raiders of the Lost Ark

An uber-geek, interested in the technical side of movies, especially as applicable to animation, comic-books and sci-fi. Intelligent but dopey, and easily influenced. Legally changed his last name to "Sumner" after a traumatic childhood experience. This isn't as sad as it sounds. It was awesome.
Jonesy Jones
Current favorite film: Me and You and Everyone We Know
All-time favorite film: Chinatown

Also a geek, but probably a bit too serious for his own good -- and everyone else's, too. Jonesy tends to prefer slightly more thoughtful "films," as he would call them, but enjoys blockbusters, too, for an hour or so after leaving the theater. Then he picks them apart like crazy.
Maura
(last name currently unknown)
Favorite film: The Matrix
Smart, cute, dorky, often single -- every movie geek boy's dream. Um, except she's not so interested in movie geek BOYS.
Jesse Jones
Favorite film: Rosemary's Baby (seen when she was four)
Jonesy's younger sister.
Marlon Brando
Favorite film: Superman: The Movie
Although reportedly dead, several people have claimed to have seen the great actor Marlon Brando going about his average daily business . . . which, admittedly, is strange stuff by anyone else's definition of the word "average."
Roger Johannson, the actor who played E.T.
Favorite film: Duh.
Along with Mariel Hemingway, Roger Johannson fell vitim to the early eighties' plastic-surgery-as-method-acting school of thought, and has been hopelessly typecast ever since. Though set for life, he's always scheming for the comeback he can't admit will never happen. Bitter, drunk.
Nigel Billingsley
Favorite film: Amelie
Not your common-variety garden gnome! Nigel's appeared in over 40,000 movies and TV shows. True, some of those appearances have lasted for less than a blurry second, but STILL . . . have you been in 40,000 movies and TV shows? Yeah. Didn't think so.
Barry
Favorite film: Oh, who knows. HE'S A MONKEY!
The monkey who lives with Danny and Jonesy. His ownership is still unclear, but he's gotta be named after something.
